The Coronation Hall has recently been refurbished and redecorated to reflect its 1930’s period charm and has the following main facilities available for private hire;

  • A main Hall licenced for 100 people. The main Hall also has a stage and a servery.

The Hall also has:

  • Plenty of tables & chairs
  • Full sets of crockery, cutlery and glasses, cups & saucers etc
  • Modern ladies & gents cloakrooms, plus a separate WC at the rear of the Hall (this is suitable for the ambulant disabled).
  • A sound system but please note we do not have wifi and the mobile signal is poor – so you can play downloaded music from a device (via our blue-tooth adaptor) but you can’t ‘stream’ directly from the internet.

The Hall holds a Performing Rights Licence and when necessary temporary event alcohol licences (TENS licences) can readily be obtained from Arun Distict Council.

The toilets have recently been renewed.

The Hall has level access and we have a wheelchair accessible toilet, plus a further ambulant disabled toilet.

The adjoining field can also be hired  in conjunction with the Hall itself (but subject to a number of conditions and the agricultural status of the field means there is a limit on the number of times in a year we can make the field available for non-agricultural purposes.

We do not currently have wifi (long story!)
