The Main Kitchen

The main kitchen at the rear of the Hall is unusually large and well equipped for a Hall of this type and includes various ‘catering’ standard facilities, suitable for professional and general users alike.

It includes

  • 3-oven commercial gas-fired range cooker with 8 hob burners
  • commercial grade Miele dishwasher
  • large upright refrigerator
  • small chest freezer (please note this is usually left unplugged & if you want to use it for your event just let us know and we’ll put it on, but obviously we need notice).
  • small microwave
  • double sink plus separate hand-wash sink
  • Stainless steel working surfaces
  • A rather basic and limited selection of cookery implements, and some pots and pans*
  • Full sets of cutlery and crockery, some table cloths, a selection of glass
  • A selection of serving dishes, water jugs etc*.

You can use anything during your event – all we ask is that you wash up and put things back where you find them.

*Please get in touch to check if you need particular items – we cannot guarantee to have everything.
And note that much of our crockery, cutlery, glassware etc is ‘village hall standard’ – practical and useful but its not ‘matchy-matchy’ posh stufff!
